He's lobbying for the Cubs coaching job.  Maybe if the Phillies don't make the playoffs, he can be hired to replace Cholly.  Or they can just make Cliff Lee a player/manager.

ditto. I cringed last night when so many on my FB news feed were talking about "Its fist bump time!" or some ridiculous phrase meant to show that they were about to watch that joke of a show

The problem is that most of the guys available are cringe-worthy in their own right.  Arizona would like to move Heilman and/or Qualls, for instance.  The only guy I could see being worth adding would be Dotel, but he scares the shtein out of me too.

Seriously, who is available at this point?  Kerry Wood?

as bad as they are they are 6 and 7 out of the bullpen. go and look at most teams 6 and 7 and you wont find much better options
