there was also a negative story about werth in the allentown paper. not about his play but more about how hes apparently a giant dick. im not linking it because im too lazy. go and look it up.

also utley and werth and maybe some others were out gambling until 4am after the game last night. i actually approve of this, though im eagerly awaiting the old white people to say "he needs to get some sleep and focus on his hitting." or maybe he needs to drink a lot and lose money. thats more important. losers.

It's something I've thought for a long time and I've mentioned it to friends and family recently.

Now I'm just going to put it out there --- the Phillies should trade Jayson Werth. I don't care that they'll get two first-round draft picks for him when he signs with some other team at the end of the season. He needs to go --- now.

The guy isn't producing, and quite frankly, players usually have their best years when they're playing for a contract. They see dollar signs, and I can't blame them for having some extra pick-me-up in their step. But Werth doesn't have that, and that's worrisome. Remember how he got picked off yesterday? Shouldn't happen.

Yeah, I read it.  I kept waiting for her to strengthen the point about his production in a contract year, but she really chose the media snubbing as the primary problem.

But seriously, it does say a lot about Todd's writing that this woman has what would basically be a dream job for him while he's writing about who made the local softball all-star game in Browntown, TX.

i love how she mentions that she thought about trading werth "forever" like she was ahead of the game yet was to much of a little pussssie to go on record with it until the rest of the media made it safe for her
