i recently got a promotion at work, staying in dc but working on national projects, and so they had asked me to interview the replacement for my old job. i ran into her at the liquor store and found out she lives 3 blocks from me  i think i made a good choice.

Any of you read Beautiful Swimmers, about the bay, the blue crab, and the watermen?  I've heard it's good--it won a pulitzer, so it must be decent-- and just ordered it.  I'll get around to reading it in ten years maybe.
