some of the worst baseball ive ever seen them play, and that includes the terry francona era

theyll get out of it, but this is just depressing

it's June now and their giving up first place without so much as a wimper. yes I know.. plenty of baseball to play still, but this really is the worst they've played in recent years. they had a ridiculously hot ibanez to hold their head above water the beginning of last year. they need someone to step up. Jimmy and peanut can't get back to the top of the lineup soon enough.

dont worry there werent any iiusions anyway....they had seven runs in the last seven games before that three spot...anyone really believe they were gonna get another four runs in the next two innings

no, of course not. their historically bad right now. but good teams tend to step up when they need to even when their struggling. it only takes one good inning to snap out of a funk but it looks like it was more of a blind squirrel type of thing.

but more importantly they were 4.5 on the braves and 15.5 on the nats...as pointed out by me before the season this division is so much better this year...especially those two teams
