what a farging game...

just from this game, it appears that montreal not big enough to compete down low, but also not skilled enough to make the flyers pay on their end.

the flyers are playing with a supreme confidence and you can see that on the ice.  great farging effort.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

That was a first-drop to last-horn domination.

i've been in shock since the 2nd period friday.

So my daughter had to go to the emergency room tonight so I missed the game entirely.

We just watched the highlights on Flyers.com and I told her that she'd have to go to the hospital for every game for the rest of the playoffs.

She took it amazingly well.

ha, i'm guessing she's ok Rome?

She's fine.  She has a blocked salivary gland that caused her to look like she had a plum crammed in her face.  Antibiotics & liquid motrin will clear it up in a few days.  She also had a mild headache and a fever at about 101 which had me panicked about meningitis but the doctor said she didn't have any of the other symptoms so she'll be fine.

Geowhizzer

Glad she's OK.  Have the lucky seats in the ER blocked off.

why would you go to capital grille with mcgillin's right around the corner?

Because I have $200 in gift cards. Surf and Turf was unreal.

So you had lobster & filet mignon then went to the Wach, tailgated before the game, then saw them beat Montreal 6-0?

Tell me, what time is Jessica Alba coming over to finish the night off for you?

You just get the feeling at Wachovia Center that something special is about to happen. I have no idea why they started chanting the ole' chant but it was god damn loud. I'm sure Caps and Pens fans thought the same thing but I'll be really surprised if the Flyers aren't playing in the Cup.

Pronger: Best player on the ice, like having an extra goalie. I absolutely hated the trade because of his age and what they gave up but always thought in the back of my mind that he'd be the man come playoff time. Best player on the ice and it's not even close. Richards wears the 'C' but Pronger is the General on the ice.

Leighton: Sign him to an extension, he's the answer to the goaltending carousel. Sees the puck well and is always in position. Can't really ask or expect much more from what else is going to be on the market.

Favorite play of the game was when Pronger took a hard slapshot and broke his stick in half. On his way to the bench, Habs were rushing the ice and he LEVELED the dude (couldn't see who it was) with the puck.
