I'm 99% sure it was Cechmanek

PhillyGirl

Chechmanek, I believe.

They both thought they were starters so one got shipped away, the other one stayed and well, we know how that went.

wait roman checkmanek was on the flyers yesterday before being cut for leighton? no friggin way
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

SunMo

Why are you idiots trying to explain this to toddrick?
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

LBIggle

if your talking about who was backing him up this season before leighton got back today it was a forfeit.

BigEd76

Get Hextall.  He has great kids.

btw game 6 doesn't start until 8:00 and anyone outside Philly/Boston will get the 3rd period on VERSUS after Habs/Pens game 7

because i dont get how someone can go from the mvp of the nj series to everyone wanting them out two days later in favor of someone named michael leighton.

Munson

Because Leighton gave them a run much longer then the week and a half Boucher gave them, and everyone knows Boucher was bound to begin his losing ways again. Which he did.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Because despite what you were told by your idol/big brother igy, Boucher did indeed play 'out of his mind' last series. This series he's back to being the crappy goalie that we all saw down the stretch this season.

Rome

Season's over.

Time to move on.

as far as JVR Goes
They mentioned during the TSN broadcast, this was his 88th game of the year. His previous high? 45games.  Definitely a bust

Leino may be slow as mud but he controls the puck really well. He definitely should get a spot in the top 9 next year.
