yeah they are incredible stepfords...sb is off the charts...but at the same time their fanbase is incredible and a flyer playoff game is an atmosphere that cant be matched in most of sports much less this city

probably the best string of philly crowds ever

problem is they dont have a tenth of the loyal following the flyers have, so it takes a team like that to bring out the goods

i was at the bucks sixers game seven and it was absolute bedlam...one of my all time favorite sporting events in my life..but it was still a game seven to get to a finals....have the same scenario for the flyers and the scene is not even close...flyers win easily

not to beat a dead horse and get pg screaming at me again (though lets admit it, she loves it/me), but flyer fans are massive homers and overrate their team with unparalleled consistency.

I just watched the game on delay and I want to strangle Briere, hug Pronger and dry hump Boucher.

Fighting back three time from 2-goal deficits shows a lot of heart but their lack of skill up front and bone-headed defensive lapses ultimately killed them. Whatever. Fun game.

[Not that I expect you to remember] but this isn't the first time I've said it (see immediately after the Pronger trade). The organization likes to trade away draft picks for veterans who are past their prime and the fans clamor for the glory years and won't move on. The homerism and delusion of Flyers fans is just as bad as Skins fans. They both have a Sni(y)der running shtein.
