One thing I will say is that the Eagles might have been on to something. They touched off a fire storm on pass rushers. They may have had mid-first grades on all the of these DEs, but had identified their favorite, and went up to get him. I can't hate on that . I still would have rather had Thomas, but the draft ain't over. I'm starting to warm up on the Graham pick.

The worst part is, at least in early rounds it seems the fans do know better than the team, which is simply astounding.

The fans were excited about Jackson.  They were excited about Bunkley, McCoy, Maclin etc.   The WTF picks, Gocong, Matt McCoy, Laws, Bryan Smith etc have basically ALL been bad.  Whenever they reach and try to outsmart people, it has blown up in their faces.

Now, I'm not saying Graham is that degree of a reach but they don't deserve the benefit of the doubt.

My argument is that it wasn't a reach. They felt there was going to be a run on DEs. There was. They went up and got the one they wanted.

Crystal clear on DTV, bitch.

Well, it looks like the Eagles did start a run on DE's, so if they really thought Graham was the best of the bunch, it looks like the trade-up was necessary.

ice grillin you

i dont think hes a player period

but in terms of where people had him ranked they didnt take him in a bad spot...but they gave two 3's in a great draft for him when there were at least a half dozen better choices available

I can't wait to get the DTV back in June.

There is a lot of mixed reviews. Some say when you put the tape on, Graham was the best of bunch. The measurables aren't as good as the other guys. I'm taking a wait and see approach. If nothing else, I think the finally got a DE that has the weight and technique to play the run for once.

that was abiamiri...and they dont need a guy to play the run...they need an edge rusher to get to the qb...and in that respect this couldnt be a worse pick if they tried

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Eagles first round shtein is always infuriating.
