armchair manager time:

up a run, bottom 7 (they play 7), tying run on 2nd, 2nd outs, 4 hitter up.

the coach intentionally walks the 4 hitter (good player, but not babe ruth). 2 infield singles and a clean single later, games over.

do you put the tying run on base there? its not my job to analyze, i just did a gamer, but that aint the right move. even before it all came tumbling down, i said that. unless an epic hof player is up i cant justify walking someone in that spot.

not a fan of walking a possible run in.  Unless it sets up an easy double play and you have a pitcher coming up to bat, the chances to me arent in your favor.  All subject to change depending on opponent

this was the best team in the district, the pitching team is a little above average

the guys coming up where ok...nothing special. i would go as far to say they walked jayson werth to face ibanez, victorino and ruiz. something like that. throw out r/l matchups since they dont matter here. it was a terrible move. and this district plays fairly simple cape cod style ball. throw the book out god damnit.

since it's their #4 hitter, then she probably has power (i say "she" because i assume this is for the little league softball game you got assigned).  so rather than have the other team's best player end it, put her on base which now makes any base a force out to end the game.  back to back infield singles are fluky.....even for the girl scouts.

charlie for the first time i can remember since hes been here actually went out of his way to change the rotation  to line up better against an opponent...he flipped halladay and moyer in the rotation so now it will be happ - halladay - hamels vs the braves
