these 1st/2nd-rounders are in town tonight for workouts the next two days:

Eric Berry
Bryan Bulaga
Jonathan Dwyer
Brian Price
Toby Gerhart
Jerry Hughes

A smokescreen for the interest in Weatherspoon?! I hope.

I would love Dwyer too.

He's my #1 want in the draft, but I don't even think they even had a sit down with him.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

If it was me I would damn near trade all there draft picks if they could draft Berry.  I know it is a pipe dream but he is a beast.

in a less deep draft id agree...but there are to many good players to be gotten in rounds 2-4 to give up a bunch of those picks...plus i think earl thomas has a shot to be as good as berry and he would come with a much lower price tag
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I'm serious. I think dude can play in the league. He ran a 4.5 and I think even lower than that at the combine. He farging mauled linebackers all four years at Stanford. His yards after initial contact were ridiculous.

His FB is pretty farging legit too.

I would be happy with Thomas.  I was overstating a bit I really would like them to keep their 1st 3-4 picks because I don't see a big jump in talent with the first 50 players or so.

I like it but I really just don't see the Eagles taking a LB in round 1.  Especially considering how deep this draft is at that position.

i just put down 5 bucks with a buddy that the birds dont take a LB in the first, he's sweating weatherspoon hard.  If i went LB, i'd go Kindle all day long

Kindle is 3-4 OLB..not 4-3 material, IMO.

He's still a muthafarging beast

Well no one thought Orakpo could make the switch last year.  I love Kindle almost as much as I liked Orakpo last year.

Yeah, and Orakpo didn't really start to take off until they let him rush the passer like he should be.

I'm wary of those 3-4/4-3 tweener guys. We've seen that too much.

Well the Eagles need another pass rusher I don't care what position it comes from.

i still think Kindle can be a beast if they move him i think.  He's a big guy, 6'4 255, has speed to cover on the outside(he needs work, but he's got speed).  He could also be a very nice MLB in this D, and you could move Stewy to SAM

I don't ever see him being a Mike in this league.  Stranger things have happened, but I think if anything other than a SAM in this defense it would be DE.
