i have to say the most ironic thing ive ever seen is the same people saying the eagles stink and wont win anything in the near future are the same people getting mad at letting sheldon go....i love sheldon as much as the next man but for god sakes shut the farg up about the front office giving up...the team SUCKS...they werent making the playoffs next year much less winning a super bowl with sheldon...

so this is the way to go...and they are in a perfect spot....an average to good roster who needs pruging because they are 11 months aaway from a strike...think big picture and long term...not sheldon farging brown

IGY please. The whole ticket shtein on here was more in jest. Of COURSE we didn't give them up because of the FO, dipshtein.

And the problem is the bigger picture. The bigger picture is that this joke of a front office doesn't know how to treat players....or the fans.

You can say, oh its a business, blah blah blabbity blah.....all you want. But this business hasn't succeeded on the field. If you want to be dickbags and win a Super Bowl, fine. If you want to be dickbags to your players and fans and still can't put a Championship team on that field, farg YOU.

It WAS a problem for years. Its ALWAYS been a problem. I dealt with it, as did a lot of others....until last year. The treatment of Dawkins and the subsequent treatment of the fans by Banner and Reid was absolutely inexcusable. That was my breaking point. I was done after that. I couldn't defend or be happy with anything they did as a result (the FO not the players).

Its not JUST about Sheldon Brown. Its about everything else that led up to this point.

Seeing that Sheldon got no more money or years shows exactly how ridiculous this FO is. The man was not asking for anything more than what they'd already given to him. Sheldon wants it moved around a bit. Think they could do that? Nope. Its the principality of it, Smokey!

Shakedown Howie is farging this team up. Strike or no strike they're making unnecessary moves. And the biggest one hasn't even been made yet, but it will be and it will be just like 1999 again. And the farged up this is they don't even need it to be like that...build on what they have, don't tear it down.

I like the fact Hall is 6'5....so there's that.
