So it essentially looks like they got a 4th and 5th for Brown and a swap out of Gocong for Hall.

I dont think its that much of a disaster of a trade. You cant expect to get too much more than that--especially the way the market is for 30+ year old vets and the upcoming unknown seasons ahead. I would at least think that hard-charger Roseman could of at least negotiated a 3rd for Brown being that he is highly regarded as a decent corner around the league, but Roseman is a rookie negotiator.

Its definitely a downgrade on that side of the ball, but the guy was a disgruntled corner expecting a new contract. They didnt want to go into another off-season saga with that on their plate. You gotta cut bait, get what you can and move on.

Your defense of the Eagles is indefensible.

Brown never caused a scene or a problem last year. And there was no "saga". Give me a farging break. He played his ass off, through injury...and never missed a game. Played all out whenever he got on the field. Stfu.
