the officiating is the biggest reasons i can't watch much hockey outside of the flyers. the flyers are taking care any desire to watch them though.

i'm just joking smeags, but some people stick to their guns, then dont show up to explain how thats even anything more than incidental contact, and 4 mins for drawing blood.

the more and more i look at the video it does look like incidental contact but still, if they want to call it intentional and suspend him fine. you're trying to stop head hunting but call it even on everyone.

its not even that, he clearly hits him, but he hits clarksons glove which rides it up into his face.  Immediately afterward, Carcillo hugs him rather than scrap, and is patting him on the back, Clarkson said Carcillo was apologizing.  After the game, Carcillo says, well i know its gonna get looked at and its not gonna be a good one.  This is all payback for Carcillo calling the league a joke last week, where he was greeted with a 30k fine for calling the Warroom a Joke, and the refs in general.  Thats my conspiracy line.  Because the stick isnt anywhere close to what a match penalty was created for.  Just making shtein up as they go along.

i understand all that and you actually bring up a situation that further points out how much of a joke the nhl is.

OMG TWO BURGERS

the RJ trade is where this team went downhill.  Trading Umberger to Columbus, then trading that pick to the Caps for mike Eminger..lol  Its been a comedy since that draft day

How isn't Holmgren canned after this season? He inherited a team with tons of cap space and a high pick and has driven them into the ground. Hartnell is my least favorite Flyer ever, maybe top 5 most hated Philly athletes of all time.
