I saw Videodrome last night. It didn't really make any sense but I kind of dig Cronenberg's style of film making. Actually reminded me of Hellraiser in a lot of ways only not as good.

Bronson - movie about England's most violent prisoner. Ehh they tried too hard to mesh Chopper and numerous other movies of bad people together to try and make something artistic and it just ended up like it tried too hard. It had its moments, but mostly was just stupid.

I also watched like 80% of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. It was pretty retarded. I mean it had some promise and some cool parts, but mostly it was just dumb and unnecessary.

watched "9" the other day.....not the musical, but the tim burton movie.  i'd never even heard of it by my squaw is a big tim burton fan.  not his best work but was still pretty enjoyable.  the animation was top notch, as is usually the case for his movies.

I finally saw "The Blind Side".  I was looking forward to this movie since I read the book back in late '07 (and loved it).  When the movie came out, I could tell that they were going to add some Disney style cheese to it and take some liberties with the story.

But it was worse than I imagined.  It was so corny that one of my coworkers on my flight (who did not read the book or know the story) was surprised to find out that it was a true story.

It was the liberties that they took that had me even more upset.  Basically, they whittled down the dads involvement to reciting a poem, even though in the book he is the first one to spot Michael, is the one that came up with clever ways to make the grade, acted as the family liaison to the football coach, etc.  Instead, it was all Sandra's character.  Or the flight Michael had at the end of the movie with the gangster while he was still in high school?  Nope.  It happened in college.  With a teammate.

1 star if you read the book.
2 stars if you haven't
4 1/2 stars if you only watch the lifetime network and "27 dresses" is one of your all time favorite movies

I tried to watch Extract no less than 4 times... I still couldn't tell you what it is about, but I can tell you it was an incredibly boring waste of 20 minutes on four separate accounts.
I thought weed would help this movie.  It didn't.

Or at least a friend of yours told you it didn't.

If I'm going to spend some time at the office on :CF, I can at least have the courtesy to do it outside of their network.  I'm such a nice guy.

I can just see FF hunched over his blackberry in a cubicle somewhere, desperately thumbing out a zinger to mildly insult MDS. We're a sad lot of people here at CF.

No one here really rates that "desperate" of an effort.  But you knew that.  Now go watch a movie and contribute to the thread, dingus.

oh my god i miss ff. he is a legend. great to have you back. strings of posts like that cant be replicated by other people. a welcome sight, like rjs' ballsack.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Exactly.  His sack is probably a sight to behold.
