The Stimulus Map Package will be released for MW2 XBOX Live members only March 30th. Apparently PC AND PS3 won't get it til April or May. Wow that would suck for those people.

If you do not have a Gold membership you can somehow play these maps today through sunday for free with a XBOX Silver membership.

It's rumored there will be 3 new maps and 2 old maps from COD4 and those maps are Crash and Overgrown.

edit. actually just read it could be 10 maps and it could be free, hence stimulus package. 4 maps from COD4, along with Crash and Overgrown it's rumored Vacant and Shipment, the 2 smallest maps in that game...I hope 10 new maps free is correct. Highly doubt it, but we'll see...

yeah, Crash and Overgrown will be great, they did some minor tweaks, but i loved those maps.

Crash def. Vacant and Shipment are waaay too small. Overgrown is another sniper map. I'd rather them use Crossfire, Pipeline or Bog or even Broadcast or Chinatown from map packs...Downpour was nice too.

i just got the game yesterday.  played for like 10 minutes and can see why everyone creams themselves over it.

Another report saying its only 5 maps, 3 new and 3 COD4 maps.

so i was playing the other day, and got stabbed.  I got a Infected Challenge pop up, never saw it before.  Ends up Infinity ward did some special things
"Infected: Get knifed by someone who has it as their active title.
STD: Knife someone who has it as their active title.

It's been going around a while. There are all sorts of "transferable" titles. The whole title idea is a really nice little feature of the game.

So over the past two nights, i've been playing and encountered this, they have to fix this shtein, annoying as hell, its fun for a round, but it seems to stick to your game until you reboot.

think thats one of the worst maps on the game

rust is my favorite probably because the game hardly ever takes me there

i've played Rust maybe twice, just dont see it in Hardcore since its so small.  I cant wait for the new maps, but they have to fix this glitch, because its annoying as farg.  the best part is if you're running backwards, you can jump, go up 50 feet and die from the fall

I got into a game or two like that a few weeks back, havn't had the problem since. i just quit. yeah I can't wait for the map packs, and extra 5 maps will be nice feature. just hope they plan on adding more in another 3 months.

there were rumors it was going to be free, hence stimulus package, but I highly doubt they are that generous.
