Kolbs lack of arm strength alone will keep him from being Brady.

But yes, keep thinking he's a complete wild card. He's never gonna be better than average at best. And average at best at the QB position isn't going to win you a SB unless you have one of or both a good running game with a coach dedicated to it, and a ballin ass defense that scares the shtein out everyone. The Eagles have neither of those, and won't anytime soon.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

this one single post wraps up munsons unbelievable lack of football knowledge....like if you were his worst enemy and you needed some ammunition to bury him he just laid it out on a silver platter.....where do you start?

the fact that he thinks bradys arm is strong
the fact that he thinks cobbs arm strength is the reason he wont be good
the fact that he thinks cobb IS brady except for the arm strength

the kid never stops

Kolb's biggest problem is the fact he holds onto the ball for farging ever. I dont think he has a weak arm.

No, McNabb's biggest problem is the fact that his accuracy isn't the greatest  on the short/mid-range throws and is not ideal for a WCO.

His feet and escapability allow him to hold it longer than cement shoes Kolbsy

Brady can actually get some zip on the ball to squeeze it into a tight spot. He has the arm to get it into the spot he wants.

I have absolutely no confidence in Kolb's arm being able to do that. He looks like a soft pitch softball thrower out there.
Edit-bwahahahahah yeah I definitely said the only thing keeping Kolb from being Brady is his arm strength. RIF.

Anyway, make sure you're here when Kolb peaks at average and the team wastes two or three years of Jackson/Maclin/McCoy.

wow j youve watched 5 for a decade and havent seen his propensity for not making quick decisions...one of the reasons for his lack of accuracy is that he cant decide who to throw the ball to

I don't think so...he knows where to go with it, but sometimes lacks the touch to put it there

Munson

Kolb has zero arm strength.

look at that duck.

Now imagine it against coverages that aren't blown.

You crazy if you think Brady has an arm like that wet noodle.

he really doesnt...which is why he thrived with TO going down the field....he is pretty damn good putting air under the ball but if he has to read a defense and thread something then the punter better be gettin warmed up

phreak is living in 5 fantasy land. he can only relent on the accuracy thing. there is no hope with him.

as for kolb even if his arm strength isnt great, it still can improve. hes played 2 friggin games. evaluate him after 16 as a starter and then make an evaluation.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Munson

I really have no problem with them giving him a chance. But McNabb is the superior QB. I hope for Kolb's sake that Reid runs it more than 15 times a game because he'll get Kolb killed and the dude won't be able to prove anything laying on his back all year.

at some point your going to have to take pacifier out of donovans mouth and stop blaming andy for everything. yea, we get it. andy is fat and passes a lot. but the only thing 5 is superior at is losing in the nfc championship game, bitter jealousy, and embarrassing himself with pre-game dance routines.

I'm not blaming Reid for McNabb's failures. But I am saying that McNabb was good enough to go 10-6/11-5 in the pass happy offense throwing 45 times a game. There's no way a guy like Kolb and his lack of mobility survives that.

As GF pointed though Reid tends to change his game plan when McNabb isn't in the game, so hopefully he can do so when McNabb is gone. We saw what a balanced attack WITH McNabb did for them late last year. Then he went back to dropping him back 45 times and the result was utter failure two weeks in a row. What makes you think Kolb will do any better than McNabb in that type of offense? He's a little bit more accurate, but with no mobility and a noodle arm.

7-9 baby. Get excited!
