its not a race thing...its a what you can relate to thing...a movie about the inner city is going to be completely foregin to you...where as salt of the earth MA joe plumber types are right in your wheelhouse....and we all are going to enjoy/understand the things that are more comfortable to us

i'm curious..... how is it that a white, 30ish yr old dude who lives in the suburbs is going to be any more in tune with what goes on in the inner city than say munson or easy or anyone else on this board?

because i grew up in a city..went to college in a city...volunteered in inner cities......rip and ran with people from the city.....im guessing this is a trick question tho since you actually brought up delaware garbage like munson as a comparitive example

nah, it just dawned on me that i didn't know where you grew up so i wasn't sure if you were a life long suburbanite or not.

isnt it dollar bud night at the lions club?

pretty much every night is dollar bud night at the lions club.  unfortunately, that's still way too much money to spend on bud.

Rome

i'd sooner gouge my eyes out than read any more racial crap on this board.

please stop it forever.

Munson

If it was about white people you wouldn't hate it. Racist.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

MDS

to an extent igy right but another extent hes an idiot
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

with my rapping ability circa 1993 and your ripping and running we would make a hell of a team. lets talk off-line.

Sgt PSN

I'd be willing to pay cash money to see Reese rap.  I'd also pay money for him to never ever ever rap.  But mostly I'd pay to watch him make out with the front end of a big rig on I95.

Munson

I can give you a mean rendition of "Roll Out" as a pre game show for that Sarge.

It's all about the street cred bro'. Even if your street is in well manicured suburb.

isnt it dollar bud night at the lions club?

The Lions club is a club without a lodge, so no.

Do you even know what the Lions club is or does?

i actually have no idea what they do.  i do know that they aren't a "social club" in the same fashion as the legion, vfw or elks and i also know that my grandfather was a member.  and judging by the signs i see, they're also big in the "adopt-a-highway" campaign.

i didn't bother to get into semantics with igy though because i'm sure he doesn't care one way or the other.

shorebird

Well, to make it short,  the Lions Club is one of the most benevolent organizations in the world. They've already gave 2.4 million in Haiti.

But, you can always count on igy to make ignorant uniformed comments.

yeah because all of us that love star wars and/or LOTR's can relate to them better because we umm, used to live in a galaxy far far away or grew up in middle earth.  ::)
