Why does anyone care this much about high definition? 5 years ago tv was tv. Now all of a sudden it's worth having a stroke over if something isn't broadcast in HD? Settle down, monkeys.

Hockey in SD is useless, especially MSNBC's signal which may be the worst on tv.

um, not really. 

a bocci ball is like 10x smaller than those giant hockey pucks is that they slide in curling.
once a bocci ball is tossed no one can do anything to alter it's course and speed. 
bocci ball can be played anywhere and is great for family reunions and bbq
bocci is not an olympic sport, nor is should be. 

bocci is horseshoes for whops.  curling is for janitors who can't ice skate or play bocci.

Point of Bocci: get your bocci ball as close to the black ball as you can. If you have the closest, you get a point for each ball of yours that is closer than the opposing teams closest ball.
Point of curling: same. substitute "center" for "black ball" and "stone" for "bocci ball"

Of course there are rule differences and variations.

not really over analyzing anything.  there are similarities in the scoring methods, that's about it.  but the fundamentals of the game are drastically different.  not to mention that 1 is slow and unwatchable and the other is a great way to spend a sunny afternoon with friends and family. 

neither has any business being an olympic sport.  the fact that someone can actually win a gold medal in curling seriously takes away from the significance in winning an olympic gold.

i love hd as much as the next guy but i couldnt agree more...shtein the eagle bar i go to in dc doesnt have the games on hd....and this is a meaningless hockey game

and the reason its on msnbc is because they wanna get that brand name out there to as many people as possible...everyone already knows what nbc is....and the ad time is already sold...nbc could put the game on palladia at this point and it wouldnt effect their bottom line

When I'm going to a bar, it's because they do have HD, being as I don't have it at home and watch TV on an ancient 50" bigger than my recliner TV.

I don't give a shtein, IGY....any other sport its fine.

USA vs. Canada HOCKEY needs to be in HD. NBC farged up big time on this, as per the usual.
