Anyone seen a good movie lately?

Up in the Air: good movie. If you hate Clooney, you probably won't like this movie, but it is a lot better than your typical romantic comedy. Vera Farmiga is really hot, and I'm really starting to like her as an actress. One of the better 2009 movies I've seen.

This was a comedy?  I didn't laugh once.

Up in the Air -- it wasn't the worst movie ever, but it's one of those one-and-done movies in terms of watching it again, and basically nothing changes after sitting there for 2 hours. zzzzz

I think Clooney is an excellent actor. Oh Brother Were Art Thou is one of my favorites. If you like bluegrass, the soundtrack is great too.

so the wolfman is getting crushed

the concept and cast seems to make this a winner, but every preview i see leaves me with the feeling it will be awful

My point was not that he's a bad actor. My point is that I can't watch his movies without picturing him on his self-important soapbox lecturing the public about shtein that he knows nothing about.

I'm close to that point with Tim Robbins (and to a lesser extent, Susan Sarandon). I love Shawshank, and I think he's a great actor...but his smug know-it-all attitude drives me crazy.

lol @ taking the movie literally (and possibly personally)

and she wasnt even close to a bitch...she was just completely naive...which was pretty much used to drive home one of the main themes of the movie
