In Bruges is a pretty good flick.
There is considerable overlap between the intelligence of the smartest bears and the dumbest tourists." - Yosemite Park Ranger

Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Up in the Air--its a well put together movie, but definitely not something you have to run to theater to see because you feel like you're missing out.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Saw Book of Eli tonight.  I don't even know to describe how great it was.   Denzel might be the best actor in the history of movies.  The story was unabashedly religious without a hint of irony in it, and amazingly enough, they totally pulled it off.   Gary Oldman might have won himself an Oscar and Mila Kunis was excellent.  Same goes for the amazing Jennifer Beals.

Everything about this movie was first class.  Cinematography, acting, script, sequencing, music... everything was just about perfect.

Father Demon

I watched The Maiden Heist out of Redbox based solely on the names in the movie.  May have been the worst mistake I've made in the past five years.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Interesting. It got killed in the reviews.

well, i tend to think for myself rather than relying on critics to make entertainment choices for me.

I wasn't expecting such a positive review. I'll see the movie, but probably not in the theaters. I like the cast though.

We went to see PRECIOUS yesterday. My girl had been on me to go see it and one theater still has it playing in town so we went. What an appalling, sad, well done flick. The actors were spot on (Monique just won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of Precious' mom). I went into it thinking chick flick but enjoyed it a lot.

The Wrestler -- worth a watch but it's pretty much predictable

i saw the hurt locker at some point last week.  one of the better war movies i've seen in a while.

Sgt PSN

watched i love you, man last night.  not going to be ranked up there with the great comedies but it did it's job and made me laugh throughout.  nice flick.

Saw that yesterday too.  Seems like anything with Jason Segel is usually watchable, including the CBS show...
