How bout more than one playoff game againts the Eagles. And as for not giving him any credit, thats bull. Go back and look at what I said when the Cowboys beat the Saints. I've said all along that the Cowboys are hot and the D is playing great. But I'm not going to say Romo's over the hump just because he beat the no defense Eagles. No. I can't figure out why anyone would.

But please, by all means, continue to hang from Romo's balls.

any index that has the eagles defense ranked #1 in anything except missed tackles, blown coverages and inept linebackers is a joke.

btw...if tony romo plays well in the playoffs (regardless of how far they advance) then i'll give him some more respect. he's already excersized a few demons this year, but i need to see more consistency from him and make some plays in crunch time to prove that he belongs with the elite qbs.

i think that's what shorebird is talking about.

no one is saying hes an elite qb...altho after this season that could easily be argued...just saying that the guy has awesome this year and is currently in a zone

Actually, the Birds fell out of the top spot quickly over the last few weeks. The index isn't adjusted for playing zesty teams and the Eagles played A LOT of zesty teams this year.

Pretty much, he's been better this year as the whole team has. I called that soon as they got rid of TO. But I'm not giving him credit for beating an Eagles team who could stop absolutly no one. It's the defense that has that team on such a roll anyway, imo.
