I am thinking about getting the new Madden, haven't had one since like 05 or 06, because I thought EA wasn't improving it enough to warrant the 60 bones. I have CoD5, and Left for Dead 2 (can't open til Christmas, I'm not supposed to know), but there are a truckload of good games out now, like DragonAge and Assassin's Creed II. Does Madden suck wang, or should I get one of those titles?

Any interest in doing a Madden online Franchise w/ CF? Can have a whole league of player run teams, all online.

Mussa, I went to jump into one of your parties last night, you were playing team deathmatch. F that. Everyone there was like 60+.

You can always trade in some old games for Madden 10. Or buy it used or search on ebay for it. I think Madden 10 is the best madden since the 05-06 era(which was the best years IMO)

i'd totally be into a Madden online franchise, I'm just not sure how that works. Zanshin might know...but I'd be into it.

Ahh it doesn't matter what number ranked people are, Im a 70 and some games I go 20-3 or some games ill go 4 - 17. That shouldn't hold you back, that number basically just means people play the game a lot, doesn't mean they are good. You should get in a game with me and Murp some night. i'll send you an invite if your on when we are or whatever

Yo. Madden is better this year. Microsoft Store just had it on sale for $30. Worth it, I think. I play it with friends all the time, and for the first time in years, I've enjoyed the franchise mode (though it's still not quite as good as it was in the heyday of the PS2).

I haven't tried the online franchise yet, but I'd definitely be up for it and I have a couple of friends who would be up for it, too.

Here's a good site to keep track of game deals, by the way:  http://www.cheapassgamer.com/index.php

i'd get in on an online league.  i haven't played for months and when i did i sucked but i'd still play.

I finally played an online game the other week and I went toe to toe with this guy til right before half-time it was tied and I picked 6 this chump cause he went for a fake punt. He quit. It pissed me off cause it was a good close game and when it didn't go his way he quit on me. I'm down for getting a league together, I know at least 2 other guys that play that might be interested.

Yeah but why not still sell the physical game for $60 and push hard on extras through xbox live. people will still but the extras if its a good game. thats more profits. the only way I see this happening with all games is when games become easily pirated like music and movies. or if they can somehow gamble on making same if not better profits this way. either way i like it, except this might destroy the local game shop guy and trading in games.

GTA has done well with the extra levels.  I still havent gotten the latest one, mainly because of MW2

They push new episodes all the time. I'd buy them up but I somehow lost my copy of GTA4 and have yet to find it. I bought all 4 map packs for WaW(COD5). Sadly COD4 only came out with 1 map pack. I'd like to see them come out with a new map pack quarterly until Modern Warfare 3 comes out. I would totally buy that. What I really want is a map creator. I'd love to design a map. Imagine being able to create your own maps and sharing them with other people. That would be the bees knees

Picked up Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on whim because it was $10 new on Amazon. I'd heard really middling things about it, but all things considered it's really not a bad game.

Got an Elite for christmas from the wife, explains why she's been fighting me non stop over the past few weeks about me picking me up one.  She loves the netflix option more than i do, and its been killing us not having that available for our winter vacation.  I'll have a refurb xbox 360 Pro available for sale soon when it gets back from being repaired.  I'm asking 100 bucks bare, with just the HD and a remote, i can include games if interested.
