it's probably the best fishing story of my life...maybe even of all time.  it's either that one or the time i hooked a marlin while in florida with my grandpop but i was too small to reel it in and nearly got pulled off the boat so i let go of the pole instead.

them lancaster boys know how to hunt!

Not me, I just go to the hunting camp to drink.  I have shot a few deer, but after shooting at people hunting lost pretty much all appeal.  Maybe it will change.  GFYS

Hell yeah, I love Greek mythology. What's not to love about a murderous, incestuous and all together mentally unstable pantheon of absurdly powerful beings.

Like a lion or a bear or a farging human being!
Isn't that a little extreme?

I just caught a big ass Amberjack in the Gulf of Mexico last week.  Actually my girl snagged it but couldn't reel it in so I did.  No idea how large it actually was but I'd say about 20 lbs, it was at least 2 feet long.  We named him Sammy and he was delicious.

My best was a 186# Big Eye Tuna.  Sold him to the Japanese for $1800.00 in 1995 :yay

QuoteHenry Molaison, known as H.M. in scientific literature, was perhaps the most famous patient in all of brain science in the 20th century. This week, researchers are dissecting his brain to figure out exactly which structures contributed to his amnesia, which he suffered for more than 50 years.

At the Brain Observatory at the University of California, San Diego, researchers began slicing H.M.'s brain Wednesday afternoon and streaming the procedure live to the world on their Web site.

Their technology allows them to cut the brain at a width of 70 microns, and will yield about 2,600 slices total, Annese said.

For the total dissection, the brain has been cooled to a temperature of 40 degrees below zero Celsius. The entire process, streamed live on the lab Web site, is expected to last about 30 hours, and will probably go into Friday night, Annese said.

Thursday around noon, there were 17,000 people watching the live video of the brain cutting, he said. The Web site has had more than 3 million hits.
