I don't have the patience for that. time plus shipping costs plus ebay costs, is it really worth it?

depends...if you're a worthless pos with nothing to do, if you're time is worth nothing and you like standing in line at the post office....then yeah, it's great

It depends how much you care about the profit. After all these are only games, it isn't like you are making an extra couple hundred. But something about giving Gamestop the satisfaction of giving you $8 for your used game, and then turning around and selling it for $24.99 the very same day pisses me off. It is more about principle than anything.

I usually sell my games on ebay if it is worth it. Sometimes I can get back close to what I paid for it, minus ebay costs, which still give a much better value than Gamestop.

I'm going to trade Operation Flashpoint towards it I decided today.  If it doesn't get me at least 35 a month after it came out I'm going to be very upset and then I am going to trade it in anyway.

I used $8 as an example. Madden 10 came out in, what, august? NCAA was July? You bought each game pretty recently, and still combined with NHL 09 you got less than the price of one game for 3. A ripoff to me. Not to mention your Madden 10 and NCAA 10 are on sale used in your Gamestop right now for $49.99 a piece and your NHL 09 for $17.99.

thats decent. I got $42 for WaW, SKATE 2, Madden 09 and NHL 09

I always sell my used games on ebay and have gotten more than the gamestop trade in value.   to list a game for sale, print shipping labels in paypal and drop in the mailbox on the way to work only takes a few minutes.

And because Gamestop jacks up the cost on their used games you can always buy them cheaper on ebay as well.

example.

I just called gamestop and they said the cash trade in value for COD WAW was $10.80.

I just sold that same game on ebay for $33.  After basic shipping, ebay and paypal fees it takes off some of that profit, but you still got more than double the price.

i am going to up all night tonight playing mw2. actually the next few days will go towards that game. hopefully i can pry myself from the controller at some point this week to make some $.

ha, im going to the midnight release. the place im going to is having a party. i won't be hanging out though, im trying to go as late as possible so i can avoid contact with other losers like myself. thankfully a buddy is going with me to get the game as well

the 12 year old working there when i pre-ordered tried chatting me up about it.  i just pulled my phone out of my pocket and acted like i got a call and stayed on the phone until he finished the transaction and i could leave.
