Anyone ever seen Paranormal Activity? It debuted in like 07 but has a limited theatre release that started last week or something. Previews look like it could be really good or really awful.

"Observe and Report" - a little dark and disturbing

And not terribly funny.  I don't think it was trying to be either.

Just saw "Body of Lies" on Showtime (?) this weekend.  Excellent flick about the middle east.  Leonard DiCaprico (covert CIA) and Russel Crowe (overt CIA) are excellent.  Movie only rated two** but was much better IMO.  I think it was released in 2008 but does a very nice job of putting the problems in perspective.

Kind of disappointing to see it's only 81 minutes long...I guess you can only have so much zombie killing gore.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Maybe it has great dialogue throughout the movie and the only gore parts in the move are the ones in the trailer. The kind of intellectual movie that makes you think!
