Reid and the wildcat design? hmmm...somethings not right there

MDS

looks like adam dimichele, the temple legend, is coming in as a camp body with korn on the kobbbbbb injured. holla.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Vick is a TERRIBLE quarterback.

forget his personal issues.

he sucked before he was in jail...he's worse after not playing all this time.

terrible qb, yes.  but he was one of/if not the best overall athlete in the nfl prior to getting locked up.  does he still have that athletecism?  who knows.  but there's no doubt that having him on the field in a wildcat-type role wouldn't create serious headaches for even the best defensive coordinators.

in other words, as long as you're not counting on him to drop back in the pocket 25 times a game to throw the ball, but get him out there for anywhere between 5-8 plays a game that takes advantage of his all around athletecism, then he certainly brings some dynamic, big play ability to your offense and any team that doesn't even take that into consideration is foolish.

the big question is after a 2 year layoff, is he still an elite athlete or has the rest of the league caught up to him?

you can hear your boy Vick tell his beautiful story on 60 minutes airing Sunday at 7pm

I want the Eagles to win a Super Bowl.  If Michael Vick helps them win one then sign him.

Otherwise, shoot him in the dick for all I care.

I just pictured Vick on the field at the same time as McNabb, Westbrook, and DJAX and just thought it might be something exciting and productive.

Another motherfarging injury...  :boom

From the main site:
QuoteIn injury news, Todd Herremans will be held out of the game, and perhaps the entire preseason, with a stress reaction in a bone right above the arch in his foot. Reid said it might be a four week injury, but Herremans is expected to be ready for the regular season opener in Carolina.

this season had train wreck possibilities all around it with the losses of dawk jj runyan and tra....now with the offensive line in a shambles its looking more and more likely

at least i should win some money from shorebird this year

out of all the training camp injuries reported in the NFL, 95% of them will be just fine before the season opener

amazing.

ice grillin you

even if youre correct and both of the andrews peters and herremans are all 100% for the opener it still would have meant the o-line played together a total of zero snaps together

even if they all played every snap in training camp meshing would have been a concern...now its preposterous to think that wont be a major issue....and again thats if youre naive enough to think they wikll all be healthy

and dont get me started on the defense

This is the biggest concern to me by far.  It takes some olines at least a full regular season to get on the same page, let alone training camp and preseason.  At least they have some talent there.

well look at this way, when you have a team that passes as much as the Eagles you dont have to have that cohesiveness as much as you would a running team. they will be on their heels majority of the time, and pass blocking is a hell of alot easier than run blocking

not trying to diminish the importance of having the unit all together, but Im not as worried.
