as long as it's not karen corr.    there were times i'd turn on the tv and she'd be playing and i swore it was janet reno.

karen corr is farging phenominal as well.  in fact, i don't remember actually seeing her lose.  i know she has, but every time i've seen her on tv she ended up winning.  i remember watching her mop the floor with allison fisher on several occasions.

it's a movie. 

and up until i moved out to cali, i shot anywhere from 4-7 days a week.   shot in apa and bca team leagues.  never shot in a singles league because it's not as fun for me although i used to shoot in a weekly singles tourney in kc and almost always placed in the top 3 to earn me a little pocket money. 

the house i'm in right now has a room that's big enough for a pool table but there's no way i'd buy a new table because i'm not going to take it with me when i move.   i check around every now and then for a good used table but the pickens have been extremely slim and the few i've seen that interested me were way over priced.   pisses me off too because i really miss playing but there aren't any places to shoot around here on good tables.  just a bunch of dive bars and low end pool halls with crooked tables, worn felt and dead rails.

I shoot APA on tuesdays, ranked 6, and shoot BCA on thursdays, ranked 8. Both are just a little above avg. I've never won a tournament, but have finished in the money a few times. Our APA team got beat in the playoffs by a team that ended up winning and will be going to Vegas. Man, I would have loved to be going out to Vegas for a pool tourny.

lost a couple apa team tourney's in the finals that would have sent us to vegas.  the last one pretty much turned me off on apa all together and i doubt i'll ever play it again.  i was a 7 and was shooting against a 3.  this dude was an obvious sand bagger because the only time i got to the table was to break the 2nd game.  got nothing on the break and that was all she wrote.  he had a break and run on the first game, ran the table after my break on the 2nd and another break and run in the 3rd game. 

no way that a 3 or 4 is going to run the table 3x in a row.  i've been shooting for 25 years and i've ran the table 3x in a row once.....and that was just shooting with some friends. 

i've always known people to sand bag in apa but never had much of a problem with it because most people are usually ranked one level below what they really should be.
