Got a buy one/get one free coupon from a co-worker for Ruby Tuesday.  Went tonight and got the steak & lobster tail combo for two.  Steak, lobster tail, loaded potato, steamed broccoli & all you can eat salad bar for $18.99 for two full dinners.  It was actually a nice piece of meat and the lobster was about 6 ounces.  Not bad at all especially for the price.

their salad bar is ok the rest is trash...only good thing theyve ever had was the buy one beer or cocktail get a second one for a penny

food is just ok but you cant beat that shtein for a sat happy hour...gin and tonics were strong to which shocked me...for that cheap i thought for sure theyd be light as hell

Ruby Tuesday is without question the worst sit-down chain I've ever eaten at. Eaten there about 5 times at different places in different states and every time was worse than the last. Atrocious food.

i would put rubys probably in the middle of the pack of chains....but keep in mind there is only one good chain in the country (chilis)

One example does not make a trend. And actually I'm embarrassed to admit that I had momentarily confused Ruby Tuesday with Applebees. I've probably actually only eaten at Ruby Tuesdays twice in my life and couldn't care less about it. Applebees is the worst. The absolute worst.

chilis and outback are the 2 that i can tolerate more than the others. 

anyone ever eaten at 54th st bar and grill?  it's a chain in the same mold as ruby's/crapplebees/etc but not in every single town and has a moderately more diverse menu.

outback is tricky to rate because its supposed to be better than chilis and fridays and bennegans...but it really isnt...or barely is...and that might make it worse

Unfortunately I was actually thinking of Applebees. Ruby Tuesday is probably meh-minus on the rjs scale, but I have no intentions of ever going back either way.

It's hard to pass up steak and lobster for $10 no matter where it's from

I've only been to an Applebees 2 or 3 times in my life, the one thing they usually have that's half decent is some sort of hybrid quesidilla. I know it's hard to mess up bacon, cheese, beef etc.

My g/f really likes Cracker Barrell, every time I go I get the campfire grill. They basically chuck a bunch of veggies and meat into a tinfoil and cook it in the meat juices. It's very ma and something my distant cousins would cook up 25 years ago when we were visiting them in the pocono's during the summer, but it's worth the $8.
