Supposedly NBC wants the Flyers/Bruins to play on Newyears day.  Bettman wants Ovechkin and the caps. but NBC might win out.

QuoteNew Gig For Rosenhaus
Posted by Mike Florio on June 30, 2009, 9:41 a.m.

At a time when there are rumblings in NFL circles that agent Drew Rosenhaus might be expanding his work beyond the sport of football, he apparently is.

But in an unusual way.

Rosenhaus just posted on his Twitter page that he has been hired by the fans of the NHL's Florida Panthers to negotiate lower season ticket prices.

Our guess is that Rosenhaus actually has been hired by the NHL's Florida Panthers to participate in a marketing scheme aimed at creating interest in the team's coming reduction in ticket prices.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

yea

Brodeur's backup Scott Clemmensen replaces Anderson's backup spot in Florida for $1.2M/yr

F.....Gaborik to the Rangers (5/$37.5M)

Komisarek to Toronto

Cammalleri, Gionta, Hal Gill and Spacek all to Montreal

Chris Neil stays in Ottawa for 4/$8M

Gaborik is a loser. An elite-ly skilled loser, but a softbatch douche who completely belongs on the Rangers. He'll average a point a game in the 40 games he plays and he'll rack most of those points up in meaningless games against subpar teams.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

This thread is hilarious

TSN originally reported the Gaborik deal at 5 years $5.75, which the Rangers fans were thrilled. The thread steadily declines once they realize it's actually for $7.5 million per.
