I can't believe they brought back Chuck.  Someone at NBC must have read my post.  Either that or rjs sent it to them because he felt sorry for me.

I like it better than most things I've seen in the last decade on TV.  But, then, I'm a spy nerd.  And I need my Sarah Walker fix.

And, to placate IGY, I don't get HBO to watch the GOAT.

stop with the MA shtein.  MA is awful in a hundred ways, but Southern America makes the region and mindset seem downright cosmopolitan

its the same thing. basically south of dc, west of bucks county to the coast of California is MA. Sure simpleton Christians are replaced by redneck whites in some spots, but its all the same. They are all awful.

its not being cultured, its living among people who are different than you in terms of race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, ancestry, ideology, etc.

everyone from MA is the same person, you all think the same way and live in your little bubble of hating people who are different that you and not believing they should be treated the same. black people are scary and are criminals, all hispanics are mexican are all illegal immigrants, being gay is a choice and it is wrong, women belong in the kitchen, etc.

sure not all people from MA think like this, but most do and all accept it was just being the way it is. and thats a massive problem, that this type of backwards, munson-esque mentality is accepted as legitimate in what is supposed to be the most advanced nation in the entire universe.

I think the people who've attended Duke, Vanderbilt, Georgia Tech, Rice, Emory University and about 100 other Universities in the South would laugh at Temple Beth MDS's characterizations of southerners as ignorant or stupid.
