A Cheech and Chong-themed quote? Really?
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

This is coming from the guy who thought Marcus Williams was a stud. I forget, what has become of his NBA career? lol

I see you like to use whatever excuse fits your argument. Because you like Avery Johnson, the entire Dallas team is a bunch of losers, but if you didn't like Avery Johnson I'm sure you'd just flip it the other way.

So if you want to blame the players for the playoff debacles, then surely you should want to give the players the credit to the winning accomplishments under Avery too. Can't have it both ways. You can't blame the players when they lose, but when the team wins say it had nothing to do with the players.

i dont care about johnson and i dont particularly like or hate him...nor did i say he deserved any credit or blame for the mavs.....and i dont even know what "argument" youre talking about...i was simply pointing out the factual inaccuracies in your post about him

and rondo is the one who i thought would be a stud...williams i would have taken over carney anyday cause carney sucked and they needed a point but i never touted him as some sort of future star

you are a douche on an epic level

Then we are in agreement about Avery. I never said he's a terrible coach. All I did was question all this unwarranted hype for him. Everyone wants him so bad, you'd think he was Phil Jackson. All I did was play devil's advocate and questioned what exactly makes him so great. I'm not talking about just these boards, but the radio, on talk shows, etc. Everyone seems to be drooling over Avery Johnson.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Eskin says Eddie Jordan is unlikely to happen and the following are now the top candidates:

-- Thibodeau (especially now that Boston is out)
-- Dwane Casey (Mavs asst., used to coach Minnesota)
-- Mike Budenholzer (Spurs top asst.)

Out of those 4 Ill take Budenholzer.

Hes been Popps right hand man for over a decade, and I sure as hell wouldnt mind seeing some of that Spurs offense and defense instilled on these young fools...of course none of that will work if hes a cream puff of a coach

PhillyPhreak54

Kurt Rambis interviewed today...Dwane Casey too.

Bums.

BigEd76

Boston Globe says Thibodeau has been given permission to interview with the Sixers, and the team may also be interested in bringing John Kuester back. He was one of Larry Brown's assistants and is currently a Cavs assistant...

BigEd76

Jerardi/Jasner:

-- Jay Wright removed his name from consideration
-- 6 interviews so far (Jordan, Ford, Casey, Rambis, Wright, Thibodeau)
-- Expected to inquire about Johnson and possibly Collins
-- There's been some internal discussion about Budenholzer
-- None of the current assistants (Lynam, Ruland, Loyer, McKie) will be considered
-- The new coach will be allowed to bring his own assistants

easy doin some true reportin, man i cant get a real job but maybe you can
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Rome

Hahaha.  Funniest thing I've read all week.

Sports journalism a real job?  lolz.
