The Soloist: 8/10

Jamie Foxx was outstanding. I love when he gets roles and totally immerses himself in the character. He was almost as good in this as he was in Ray. Downey was pretty good too.

The Magnificent Seven is on right now.

Im one of the few who does not really care for Jamie Foxx. Mostly because I am jealous of his success...and a little because he has nice, full lips.

I do like his early stand up.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

Watched "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning", a 1960 film about an angry Nottingham factory worker and the trouble he gets in in pubs and with women. This was Albert Finney's first role, it was interesting to se him at 23.
Big hit at the time, and kind of controversial too, with some (unshown) sex and talk about abortion. The film itself was pretty medium, although I had a hard time understanding some of the people and I lived in the UK for over a year.
Anyway, if you like Albert Finney this has been called his best role, and the movie is pretty much all him.
