That crazy crash that happened on the NJ Turnpike today - I saw it. farging crazy...5 dead, watched the Helicopter land on the TP, fiery cars, body bags...nuts.

I know none of you care, but the shtein was pretty intense.

QuoteMT. LAUREL, N.J. - April 25, 2009 (WPVI) -- Five people have died as a result of an 8-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The accident caused a major backup throughout Saturday afternoon.

The crash claimed the lives of five people and has sent others to area hospitals.

Authorities confirm to Action News the five people all came from the same car, Buick LeSabre.

All five of the victims, all in their 70s, were in a Buick LeSabre.

Great cars, according to someone I know, except for one niggling fault:  they tend to explode in flames when they get hit.

I go out of my way to park far away from civilization when going to stores and malls. Basically anywhere where there are a lot of cars. Why? Because I hate door dings.

But somehow I always get the icehole who parks right next to me and hits my truck and its pissing me off. I've gotten three dings since I bought my truck two years ago. The most recent was today. I parked far out and the mall got crowded and some ignorant icehole got my door.

If you're one of those iceholes who is inconsiderate and just throws your door open when parked next to someone...I hope you get butt raped.

Easy fix to that is to avoid the mall.God I hate it there.

You obviously aren't parking far enough away from everyone else lazy fatass.

My car has dings all over it.  Of course it has 145,000 miles on it now so I couldn't give less of a shtein.

I'm at 260k on a car I bought in September of 07 for 500 bucks (with 235k already on it).  It's been awhile since I tallied all my expenses, but I'd be surprised if, including purchase price and oil change supplies, I have spent 1200 total.

My truck is a 98, bought it in 2000. It already had 50k miles on it, in 9 years I've only put 56k miles on it (grand total of 106k). Things never given me a day of trouble (knock on wood). I plan on driving it into the ground, farg car payments.

Same here.  Last new car I will ever buy is the one I'm driving now.  I've had it for 5 1/2 years and over 75k miles.  I hope to drive it another 5 1/2 and 75k.

When I read it was a LeSabre, I couldnt believe it. I never woulda thought it was after looking at it post-crash/fire...that shtein was craaazy.

Completely agree.  '99 Nissan.  Mrs. Feva wants me to buy a new one... but I'm not dealing with a new payment.

Bullshtein...I park as far as way as possible. The end of the lot. But it gets so goddamn crowded that it fills up. Not only to avoid dings, but to avoid the lazy people and soccer moms in their huge SUVs stalking spots up close.

When I'm at the office, I park in the grass or on the other side of the fence where no one can hit my truck.

I try to do the same thing Phreak, a few years back i went to the movies and parked far away from everyone.  And even parked on a snowpile that was still there.  My girl and i come out of the theatre, and i see a car next to me.  I was pissed, then noticed they dented my door and chipped my paint.  I ripped the douchebag's mirror off and slammed it on to his hood.  My wife's reaction was priceless, she said "I've never done anything like this" with a grin, she enjoyed watching me turn into an angry caveman.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds
