We are so lucky our F.O. is going to kick ass in the draft

Yeah, it's going to make all the other teams realize that they should have thought about kicking butt in the draft too. Ha Ha, the other teams are going to be loooosers.  G-O  F-O!!

So, the Patriots are going to turn their backup QB (who likely wouldn't have played a snap for them this year) into one of the best DE's in the league.

Yep... and the Eagles are sitting here lowballing a farging FB.

How can the Eagles not spend pick #28 to best that deal?  Seriously, I really want to know.

Feva

If you deal #28 to get Peppers, what are you going to use for leverage to trade into the 2nd round?

They will trade #21 and McNabb for Cutler and a 3rd.

1. The $17 million guaranteed he'd get this year, or more with a new contract

2. DE is not a priority and they are busy trying to address positions of need, like FB

3. It is beneath the Eagles dignity to "compete" with other teams for a player

4. They are fine there

If this was posted earlier, I missed it:

QuoteDeMaurice Smith was elected as executive director of the NFL Players Association, succeeding the late Gene Upshaw and challenged with leading the union into a critical new era.

Smith was chosen as the union's fourth leader in its 41-year history, and follows Upshaw, who died in August. The NFL outsider has served as an attorney in Washington.

Smith is NFL outsider who has no labor law experience, but has ties to President Barack Obama and worked with new US Attorney General Eric Holder. He's a trial lawyer and partner at the influential Washington-based Patton Boggs.

Despite his lack of familiarity to NFL players, he beat out three strong contenders: former NFLPA presidents Troy Vincent and Trace Armstrong, and sports attorney David Cornwell.

the more I read about this story the more Im starting to believe something went down out there. Im not saying anything was premeditated, but I have a feeling that the dude Schuyler played king of the mountain on that canoe and kicked those other fargers out to sea or something

how are you a profressinal athlete, go through the rigors of the NFL or whatever and cant find the will to hold on like Schuyler did and stay alive? The survivor is saying they just decided to take their life vest offs and said see ya? cmon man

MDS

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
