Quotethe spending youre against in this bill is all ideological...you dont give a shtein about spending you just want to spend on what you want...well you your homies had eight years of that and you failed the country miserably...possibly beyond repair...so now its time to sit back and take your medicine like a good boy and basically zip your lips...for the next 8 years would be ideal...but at the very least can your old white backwards mouths close for the first hundred days...is that to much to ask for...instead all the zealouts have done is bitch like the pussified old men that they are and their leader rush came out and say that he hopes the countries president fails...be proud MA

Who's leader? Not mine. Ole' Limpballs is nothing but a blowhard. I don't listen to him.

I'm not saying I don't agree with everything thats in the bill. According to the latest Boomberg article on it states that there is roughly $300 billion in tax breaks for individuals and businesses, more than $250 billion in direct aid to distressed states and individuals, and almost $200 billion to modernize and improve the nation's infrastructure. It's also said to save or create about 3.5 million jobs. BusinessWeek breaks down all the good parts that the Dems want you to know about further. Now, I agree with most of this, but I do not agree with $250 billion in direct aid to states and individuals when our tax money is already supposed to be doing it. Besides, I guarantee you that if you looked into these "distressed" states budgets, like what should be happening, you'd find enough pork to trim were they'd be a lot better off than they are and not in need of such a mind boggling shtein load of cash.

I repeat, no part of this bill should be put towards any government programs state or federal. This bill should be 100% for the people. And another thing, all the jobs being created or saved by the billions put towards improving the nations infrastructure should have the guarantee that the jobs will be filled by Americans, and not foreign companies or foreign workers. Also, what happened to the three days that the bill was to be online for the American people to review it?? No one knows really whats being crammed into it and it makes me think that it's loaded down with money that doesn't have to be spent now or shouldn't be spent at all. But yeah, go ahead and say, "well, it's such a small part of the bigger picture". Thats nothing but a load of liberal bullshtein. When you're spending 800 billion, there are no small parts, especially when you're mortgaging our grandchildrens future.

Ha.  It's actually about 2011 and out to about 2020 with the required Federal mandates, but whatever.

I don't disagree about Bush either...he was not a fiscal conservative by any means.  So does that make unregulated Federal spending OK now for everyone?  Where does it stop?  The US in bankruptcy?  You think Iraq is bad??  This is WW3 bad.

Remember how the last depression ended...with two nukes dropped on Japan.  How will WW3 end?  What was it Einstein said?  "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."

yeah i literally meant tomorrow

the unregulated spending might be a good thing...you have absolutely no clue as to whether it will work or not...you listen to rush say its terrible and just go with it...i on the other hand have absolutely no clue whether it will work either...but i come to my conclusion on my own not because a fat racist drug addict and his followers tell me so...i do it because i truly dont know

like i said what you say is irrelevant and really mens nothing...so sit back and see what happens with the monopoly money because you people literally have no credibility to stand on

This, in a nutshell, is why you are a fool.

You desperately want to paint everyone who disagrees with you into a box that your simple mind can understand.  The problem is, not everyone fits so nicely into the boxes people want to paint them into.

I know more about economics and finance than you will ever hope to comprehend.  My educated guess is that this bailout/stimulus/spending bill will fall flat on its face and hurt the country in the long run.  Does that guarantee it will happen that way?  Of course not.  But I don't have to resort to saying you are a Mike Malloy pole smoking, Keith Olbermann suckling, John Stewart ass cleaner does it?

i have no doubt you know more about finance than me...but you literally know nothing about this stimulus bill and whether it will work or not...the people who wrote it dont know...the most brilliant economical minds in the world have no clue...so just stop hating on it because you only do so due to partisan thinkiing not because you have any idea what youre talking about

My god...isn't that enough right there, to at least look at it a little deeper than the Congress, Senate, and President have??  This isn't monopoly money.  We cannot continue to just print money and expect the World to say "OK".  Eventually there has to be a reconciliation with what we spend and what we are worth.

it absolutely is monopoly money...the printing presses will be on high speed for the next six months...doesnt mean this all wont work...but it def is a case of the govt just making up money they dont have and throwing it at a problem...the 500 billion dollar question is will it fix our problems

IGY...the world economy doesn't work that way.  It's not that simple.  Someone had to finance our debt.  For the last 20 years or so the Chinese have been nice enough to let us spend ourselves into oblivion but even they are saying "wait a second" now.

The Germans tried this after WWI and it caused hyperinflation.  People were literally burning cash for heat because it was cheaper than buying wood.  There was an article out recently that said the Federal Government's obligations in 2030 are now more than 17X the GDP of the entire world.  One way or another, Obama or someone else, the US will be completely different in 10 years than it is today...and not for the better, and not because of this one bill.  It will be because people don't understand basic finance and those people vote a certain way because of a great marketing campaign.

If you think I like Rush you are a bigger moron then I thought. I voted for Bush, how many times do I have to say it, and say I regret it? I made a mistake with that and I am a big enough person to man up and say it. I wa not happy at all with waht he and the repubs did with the power they had. I did not agree with their spend freely shtein. Everyone except the current president was for the war against Iraq. I give him credit for that. For you to say its a. o.k. to spend 800 bill. and you have no cleus of it will work is just nonsense. Farg man I bitched about what the farg Bush was doing with his domestic policy, I never gave the dick a blank check. For you to trust Pelosi and Reid with a blank checkbook is insane. FYI my line up for the day is as follows if I am in my car or work truck. 5am-9am Big John and Cisco 560 out of chicago. 9-11am mancow and cassidy 890am out of chicago with Stephany Miller (8-11am) mixed in 820am. 11- 2 Ed Schultz 820am and then Roe Conn 890am from 2-5pm.
