Using some of this money for nuclear Power plants would be a real investment in our future.

How about instead we figure out how to safely and permanently dispose of the waste they produce before we start building more of them?

That's already done. It's called Yucca Mountain.
Alert, alert. Look well at the rainbow. The fish will be running very soon.

Yucca Mountain hasn't opened yet, you ignoramus.

It is, however, the long term answer. The reason it hasn't opened is because of the liberal bent tree hugging environmentalist idiots.

Yucca can be open by 2020, and preliminary estimates say that a new nuclear reactor would take close to 20 years to complete.  So, it could work.  Theoretically.  If everything falls into place.  If there are people left by then.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

It'll be nothing but zombies by that point.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I agree with the conclusion but not the oversimplification of why it's not in operation yet. NIMBYism does have most to do with it, though.

It's not in operation because Clinton was to busy get blow jobs from chubby interns to address real problems that be deemd controversial.

Yucca is already 11 years overdue and even if it got the go-ahead it would still take 10 years to complete.  Yeah, that's a solution alright.

So nothing but short term quick solutions right? I want it open, if RJS is right then anyone who survives the zombie onslaught can hide there. It's the perfect meet up point.

Another first in America's slow, begrudging march towards racial equality:  we've now got a black AG.

Why the hell does it matter. Next thing you are gonna say is that Rodney King was an innocent bystander.

Gregg will be Commerce Secretary.

Lynch will appoint a Republican as his replacement.

Obama makes a very slick move with this, I'm impressed.
