rjs...back to Appaloosa, I know your calling me racist about indians(which is fine), but wait to you see the indian in this movie...its so bad, they couldn't even afford to hire an actor that even looked native american.

i like actors more if they're drunks off screen.

Diomedes

I've always like Mickey Rourke, don't understand how you could feel so strongly about him.

Take it to your therapist.

Man On Wire. Really good. The farging whackjob who does the highwire act was completely engaging and his cohorts were equally interesting. The story itself is sort of amazing and of course the fact that it focuses on the twin towers adds some subtext to the movie watching experience.

just watched this as well...very well done...one thing i did not know about the story was that he stayed on the wire a top the wtc for 45 minutes...just incredible...really its incredible the guy didnt die at some point in his life with the margin for error in his hobby literally being zero

i also liked how the film never once made reference to 9/11...it would have been so easy to be melodramatic but the movie had nothing to do with 9/11 and wisely left it alone

8/10

the wackness - good movie. great soundtrack

6.5/10

After watching the movie I have to assume that you are intentionally trying to be a jackass with this. What did you want, for them to be wearing buckskin vests and turkey-feather head-dresses? Are you like 10 years old?

Anyway, the movie wasn't good. Wasn't awful, but incredibly formulaic and predictable and not very well written/adapted. Viggo and Irons were good for the most part, but Ed Harris and Renee Zellweger were farging awful. Really really awful. The plot device where Ed Harris couldn't remember certain words (but always remembered the first syllable of the word) made me want to throw my television out the window.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

No it wasn't the costumes ass, it was the nationality of the guy playing the indian. he looked puerto rican. it just goes to show the lack of anything in the movie. it was horrible.

i might go see the wrestler tonight

The Wrestler - 4/5 - Rourke's performance is worthy of best actor. Marisa Tomei wasn't bad either and yes, is nude and quite attractive for playing a skanky ass stripper. Two thumbs up her bum

i can't believe people are liking him when he does well in a movie!

WTF!
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

i saw the wrestler.  it was ok.  i didn't think it was an oscar worthy performance other than the fact that he killed his body by steroids preparing for the role.  but it's one of the better movies of the year just because of tomei titties.

i still think both merryl streep and philip seymour hoffman in doubt have had the performances of the year.

ice grillin you

i havent seen doubt but its gotten very middling reviews which has hurt any great performances it might contain

i think im gonna do an okie doke double feature this weekend to start knocking out some of these oscar nominated films i havent seen
