$18 million? He's on crack

Team avoided arbitration with Victorino by agreeing to a 1 year deal

I think they came to terms on a deal with Blanton too

Amaro's in the studio on DNL coming up next

Howard will get $15.5 million and like it.

it doesn't happen like that, but a hard core baseball fan like yourself knows that

I know how arbitration works, actually.  The nerd stuff is what I rather enjoy.

reese125

yeah nice try Ry....start putting up Pujols stats there, then you might still have a shot at $18mill..but you cant blame him

thank god he didnt win MVP

Geowhizzer

He'll probably get it in arbitration.

If not, $14 million is a chunk of change.

reese125

the guy pretty much had better numbers in 2007 in 144 games and hes asking to almost double his one-year salary

His agent gets props

reese125

next year is gonna be awesome when he wants $25mill to play

PoopyfaceMcGee

You can't blame the players for trying to get market value.

Howard would fit in really nicely as the DH in New York or Boston in a year or two.  If the Phillies don't pay him, someone probably will.

BigEd76

Werth signed a new deal....$3M this year and $7M next year

reese125

damn...Amaros making some stuff happen. I give him that
