I have 2 lower level ticket to this Saturdays Metallica concert if anyone is interested. $100 each.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

or if you could teach metallica to play tolerable music
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Same here, I stopped listening to them after the Napster bullshtein. I started listening to them in 7th grade (mid 80's) - still have Garage Days on tape and Cliff em All on VHS - but now I hope Lars gets run over by a Brinks truck.

Sure, they suck now and have since the black album.  But that doesn't wipe out everything which came before, and I love that shtein like I love my own farts.  I'll listen to it as long as I live, I'm sure.
