Actually FS61, EagleGreen (for those who remember him from the early days of CF) and his son, and I will be heading out. Just secured the tickets and will be working on the rest of the arrangements.

So anyone else who is planning on making the trek to Arizona, let us know and we'll bring some Eagles spirit to the desert!  :evil

QuoteNFC TITLE GAME SELLS OUT IN SIX MINUTES
Posted by Mike Florio on January 11, 2009, 7:12 p.m.

Last weekend, the Arizona Cardinals needed two extensions in order to sell enough tickets to allow their wild-card game against the Falcons to be televised locally.

With the Cardinals unexpectedly hosting the NFC Championship, the tickets moved a bit more quickly.

The team has announced that the stadium sold out in only six minutes.

Earlier in the day, coach Ken Whisenhunt addressed the fact that the Cards unexpectedly scored another playoff game at home.

"Obviously we are excited that we have another home game to host the NFC Championship at University of Phoenix Stadium," Whisenhunt said.  "It is huge for this organization, for our players, and especially for our fans.

"After our Wild Card win here against Atlanta, I did my victory lap around the stadium because I thought it might have been the last chance for me to show my appreciation to our fans.  As we all know now that was incorrect and I've never been happier to be wrong.

"With the Philadelphia victory, we have this opportunity to host the NFC Championship against the Eagles.  I know it is going to be a great atmosphere and it is going to be electric.  The home field advantage is huge for us because we don't have to travel.  Knowing the environment and knowing the way our fans have supported us gives us such an advantage and that is exactly what we want.  We couldn't ask for anything better for an NFC Championship game."
