I still don't see how you have no idea how anyone can pick the eagles, though.

Don't pointlessly argue with me, mister. I invented pointless arguing.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

ice grillin you

people are picking the eagles soley off 44-6...ive never seen the media jump so hard on board with a team off a single win more than that game...totally ignoring that a mere week before was the dismal taterskin game and that they they didnt score an offensive touchdown against a bad minny team until the fourth quarter on sunday

I do worry about Rocca in this one, good point. He punted horribly in windy conditions this year. He has to be on point because this should be a field position game.

And we know that Pimp will be pretty much neutralized by Feagles' directional punting. I think he still burns from kicking it to Westbrook in 2003; since then he pretty much punts everything out of bounds.

even tho sav struggles in the elements id still rather have it windy sunday as eli is horrible in the wind and you might see a few ducks picked off if thats the case and even if not it certainly limits him greatly

abiamiri and andrews cleared to practice

going on the assumption that analysts are picking the Birds off of the Dallas game is beyond ridiculous

aside from momentum, how bout the reason they pick the Eagles could be the fact that both games they played this year were all out battles and very close? Nah

ice grillin you

they lost to the taterskins and people were talking about donovan and andy not returning....they beat dallas and they were the hottest team ever and going to the superbowl

do the math

Injured players Shawn Andrews and Victor Abiamiri were medically cleared to practice Wednesday.

Andrews, a two-time Pro Bowl guard, has been cleared by his doctors and will practice Wednesday for the first time since sustaining a back injury in Week 2 at Dallas. But, as head coach Andy Reid noted, Andrews will not be active for Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Giants.

"We're not going to force anything there or do anything ridiculous," Reid said. "We'll gradually work him in and see how he feels. We'll see what he can do day-to-day."

Andrews underwent surgery on Oct. 21 to correct a herniated disc in his back. Reid said that while Andrews is in great cardio shape, he hasn't lifted or played football in quite some time.

"We'll take it one step at a time," said Reid, adding that he has not ruled out the possibility of Andrews playing again this season provided the team's playoff fortunes extend beyond Sunday's game at the Meadowlands.

As for Abiamiri, the second-year defensive end could be back in action this week after missing the regular season finale and the wild-card game with a Lis Franc sprain of his foot. In 10 games this season, the reserve has played well against the run and chipped in two sacks among his 22 tackles. He also forced a fumble and was credited with six quarterback hurries.

Three players who will not practice Wednesday include running back Brian Westbrook (knee), right tackle Jon Runyan (knee) and fullback Dan Klecko (shoulder).

ROSTER MOVE: Rookie lineman Mike McGlynn (torn hamstring) was placed on Injured Reserve on Wednesday. The team filled the open roster spot by adding cornerback Dimitri Patterson, who recently spent time on the Chiefs practice squad.
