i still cant get over reese/cole saying there is "no better show on tv" than entourage.

how farging stupid of a person do you have to be to think this is quality? its not a matter of opinion like oh i like that its fun or whatever. i enjoy watching entourage, a lot of people do. its a fun show, it passes the vcr clock test with flying colors. but in no way shape or form is it a good show. it farging blows. the acting, outside of piven, is amateurish. the writing is sloppy and lazy. there is no point, no real plot, no character development, no real reward out of watching the show other than being mildly entertained by the unrealistic lives that you will never live.

really it just speaks to someones intelligence to truly think this show is good. once you think reese/cole cant get any dumber, they go and do this. is there anyway we can a retro-active abortion done or something? save some oxygen and such.

I never said there is no better show on TV than Entourage. The best shows right now are The Shield and Dexter.

Best shows on TV are Dexter and Lost.  And I honestly believe that, although I've never seen a single episode of The Shield.

The Shield is so much better than Lost. You need to check it out.

But both the Shield and the Wire are done, Life and Times might not get a season 2, so when you look at it Mad Men, Lost and Dexter are the cream of the crop for drama.

It's not even close to the best show on television (that would be Lost) but I like Entourage because it's mindless entertainment that's on when shtein else is. As far as Vinny Chase goes I find myself rooting for his character because he's got principles and doesn't sell out. He hit rock bottom and last season ended on a huge downer so there was really nowhere to go but up. I might identify with the crew a bit more because I've moved from the inner city on the East Coast to a big city on the West Coast  Anyway Piven makes the show, without him the show is over.

The point was to make fun of how stupid reese/cole is.

Entourage is an enjoyable show, as I've stated. It's very entertaining. But creatively and execution wise its terrible. The characters just go in these mindless circles and nothing ever advances or changes. It's basically the same interchangeable episode week after week. And to suggest it's the best on tv or even halfway decent is mindless and just plain stupid and should be relentlessly mocked.

It is exactly mindless entertainment, which is basically the point of television, but again, reese/cole should never live this down because to have this kind of opinion just shows how farging stupid someone is.
