The Dodgers should definitely re-sign him, then.

LA made an offer of 2/$50M or 3/$75M.  Anyone that gives him at least 4 years is crazy which means the Mets will do it

SD_Eagle5

That's insane. Boras has him convinced he'll get a 5 or 6 year deal. When all is said and done I think he's a Yankee.

Boras was on XM Baseball today and basically reiterated the same thing without saying as much.

I wouldn't give that dreadlocked clown any more than a two year deal.  I'd pay him whatever he wanted but giving him any longer of a contract would basically guarantee a repeat of his Boston dramatics.

That said, I hope the Yankees sign him to a gazillion year contract because I hate them and Hunt's been a douche since the Phils won the Series.

:-D

K-Rod's starting price is 5/$75M but "he'll be flexible" if a team wants to be "creative" in coming up with that amount  :-D

PoopyfaceMcGee

Him going to the Mets and completely flaming out is the best possible scenario.

Buzz Up PrintNEW YORK (AP)—Tim Lincecum is the National League Cy Young Award winner, taking home pitching's highest honor in his second major league season.

The slender kid with the whirling windup on Tuesday joined Mike McCormick (1967) as the only San Francisco Giants pitchers to win a Cy Young.

Lincecum received 23 of 32 first-place votes and 137 points in balloting by the Baseball Writers' Association of America. Brandon Webb of the Arizona Diamondbacks got four first-place votes and finished second with 73 points.

If they counted the post-season, Hamels would have gotten 33 first-place votes.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
