I reserve my own FAILs for McCain's choice of a cheerleader as Vice President, and for all the best hopes of every christofacist out there who thought she should represent this country.

did anyone else feel some crazy niceness in the air from people of all races and colors yesterday?

Maybe this is exactly what America needed...I dont know.

I will say that he has one of the hardest roads ahead for whats going on right now to make a significant difference, but I also have a strong feeling that Obama will go down as one of best, and most influential presidents this country has ever seen

call it a hunch

It's a good microcosm of the effectiveness of a free market, right?

I'm just farging with you.

BTW, I watched O'Reilly for the first time (and the last time) last night.  I give Dennis Kucinich credit for holding his own with that douche.  BTW, Kucinich is correct about a lot of shtein.

I did, in all interactions with non-douches.  On this board, however, people see less need for boring unity.  Conflict is much more interesting.

Father Demon

Believe me, I knew that.  It's been the local story for months, and frankly, I'm glad they farged it up.  Gives these people one less thing to think they are "big-time" about.

BTW - it's interesting to me that all through the election season, everytime Fox News reported something about Obama, the crowd instantly hit the defense of "It's Fox News, and they always make up shtein."  Then they report that Palin didn't know Africa was a continent, and it's gospel around these parts.

Funny.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

its in many more places than fox news...in fact newsweek first reported it

that's why I found it hysterical how many on here and in the news were cheering this as a political genius

people see a woman get nominated, and all of a sudden its the best for a campaign and America?

The move was degrading for women around America...and the McCain party proved it in a big way

When she was first picked I was leaning McCain and he got a good bump from it so I was pro MILF right here on this board. As I got to know more about her I realized that he went for that social conservative base and that kind of lost me. I might have even justified it in my own head because it was something he needed to do to win and shore up the base, however it turned out she was a complete idiot and should never get close to the presidency. Then I watched Obama on O'Reilly and some other things and I was sold. The guy was extremely intelligent and articulate and well... despite what a lot of folks think... moderate. Moderate is what drew me to McCain and unfortunately the GOP base can not be moderate. They have pandered to the extreme right too much to ever support a truly moderate candidate at this point. Their reactionary labeling of everything Obama as socialist is just a ridiculous talking point to scare people with. Look out for the bogey man...

Well by all accounts I'll be unemployed like Demon by the end of the year and chances are both of us will have to leave MO for a job. In IT there has been nothing but layoffs locally and the job market will be packed around here. Anheuser has just dissolved one of its major engineering departments and all of the presidents and vice presidents are retiring or leaving the company including our CIO. This has been the best job I've ever had and I'll never find something like it most likely. farging economy...
