does someone else besides retard #3 and idiot republican #2 watch this show? the shield is right now the #3 show of 2008 behind the wire and mad men. it get better every week, and last weeks episode felt like what the 2nd to last episode would be...but there are really still 5+ more hours to go. just awesome.

on a better note, mad men finale is sunday. now that the wire is done this is the best show on tv. im not gonna implore people to watch because its not even close to as important or socially relevant as the wire, but its already better than the sopranos and you will literally cream your pants just looking at christina hendricks.

also friday night lights is back to being great, though it wont be back on nbc until 2009. u can watch if you download or have directv. and i would watch julie taylor take a dump, then sniff her icehole if she asked politely.

plus curb is shooting season 7 in december, set to air probably sept 2009. sure the 2 year breaks in between seasons is awful, but i dont see why its not a good thing for 10 episodes to roll around every now and again.

what else...what else...simpsons halloween special not funny, 30 rock premiere awesome, go team
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The Wire was a frigging cops & robbers show.  Stop acting like it was anything more, please.

Also - just got done watching the SNL Thursday edition.  Most of it was boring and tedious but Tina Fey hiked up her skirt in the opening scene.  That alone made it the best episode of television ever.

Diomedes

The Wire was without a doubt the best television ever made.

i will never stop honoring the greatness of the wire and arrested development until something comes along thats better.

Sons of Anarchy was pretty good last Wednesday. Better than that show that describes your brain/penis growth ever was.

Band Of Brothers was the best television I ever saw.  It was a mini-series, though, so I don't know if that counts.  Don't care either.  The hyberbolic idolatry that The Wire receives around here is ridiculous, though.

shorebird

I liked Band of Brothers a lot, and would recomend that anyone who hasn't seen it to go rent the whole series. It was done kinda' like Saving Private Ryan. Matter of fact, didn't Tom Hanks have a hand in production?

Rome

Yep - it was a Tom Hanks joint.

Just caught up with the past episode of the Shield...what a farging episode
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

shorebird

Alright now, I've watched it twice since Tuesday. Can't wait to see what happens when Vic catches up with Shane.

SunMo

the 20 or so from when the guy was put into interrogation to when he gave up Shane was some of the most intense tv that show has ever given, and that's saying something.

Yeah, Shane looked like a Chihuahua craping tacks.
