An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

According to Fixed News John Edwards paying $400 for a haircut was a really, really, big deal - Worthy of covering over and over again. Sarah Palin spending RNC money for $150,000 on clothing and jewelry? Not so much.

McCain has GOT to have something wrong with him. Mentally, and I'm not just saying this to get a rise out of anyone.

From this article of him whining about fellow Republicans questioning his selection of Palin:

Quote"I'm amazed. I'm amazed. Which is better? Serve 35 years in the United States Senate and say you've got to divide Iraq into three different countries, or be governor of a state and a reformer and give people their tax dollars back and bring about reform in the way that your state does business? Which is better?"

He KNOWS Biden didn't even SAY that! He HAS to know. It was debunked before AND again AFTER the last debate when he spewed that same comment:

Really, is there something mentally wrong with McCain? I just don't get it at. all.

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

It doesn't matter if it's true.  If he keeps smearing Obama/Biden he might win a few more undecideds over to him camp.

It's not an error, he knows what he's saying is complete bs.  he says it in the hopes that he can rile someone up and get them to say something that will come back and bite them later.

I don't know though...I just see the constant errors (like him agreeing with Murtha yesterday  ???  ) as something being seriously wrong in his head. Like he's not "right" anymore....and I don't mean "right in the political sense.
