The funny part is that all Reid had to do was follow his philosophy (PASS) to get into the end zone in the second half on Sunday night.  And he couldn't even do that.

in his defense theres been times where people killed him for just not running the ball in...well he finally tried that and people are still pissed

i agree a happy medium would be best but i cant kill him for running it four straight times down there...its on the players for not being able to pick up a friggin yard

I agree completely. 4 straight failed runs is 100% on the players. Those were the right calls and if you can't get in the endzone from the 1 you don't deserve to win. It was the rest of the game where Reid completely shtein on himself. Again.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Well, they would have won the game if they got in there, so if you agree with the calls, the loss is on the players and not on Reid.

rjs246

That one play is an easy one to point to but there were many plays throughout the game that could have put them in a better position to win. The players failed on that series of plays. Reid failed numerous time throughout. Reid is at fault dammit.

reid called an atrocious game thruout...it never should have come to that point

the most infuriating calls being the numerous times (i think i counted four or five) where they would rip off a nice run...and the very next play reid has them in a shotgun

opening series three straight passes...why dont you run the ball once in there somewhere idiot...get your line into the game...give them a feel of knocking some people around instead of right out of the gate back peddling against speed rushers

not challenging the spot was huge mistake as well...especially with three or four of your own players yelling at you to throw the flag

i immediately went off at the tv when i sww the ref place the ball how could reid not see this or at least trust his players

So, they would have won by 10+ if Reid had called better, would have won by 3 if the players could execute better, and would have won 80-0 if both happened at the same time?

This team needs a healthy Westbrook & McNabb or it's going nowhere. Westbrook makes other players get more oppurtunities. McNabb gets the ball there. They don't wanna run Kolb or Mr. McFeeley out there anytime soon.

Reids a lost cause they might win in spite of him. Defense did thier job. Turnovers have been plentiful. Iggs didn't capitalize. Coulda put a 40 spot on Bears easily.

the thing is they had the chance to win both games, and came up short one from a zesty handoff, the other from Andy Reids dumbass calls and general waterheadedness

This is the part that's still sticking with me. It's one thing when the team flat out sucks and loses, but they blew both games due to their own ineptitude. That's in excusable for professionals to blow winnable games twice (thus far) that they not only could have won, but should have easily won.

It's not that he called four runs, it's the four runs that he called. A toss/pitch on of those would have been killer. How about that power I formation? And over the top dive? The vaunted QB sneak? Hell I'm one of those calling him out for not running enough, but you have to call the appropriate play for the situation and he didn't. I'm not lambasting him for calling four runs, just for calling four stupid plays for that situation.

the calls were fine...could he have thrown it once sure but it was a failure on the players part...hunt missing a hole i could have run thru...runyan getting bum rushed and schobel wiffing

reese125

why do people continue to believe that an over the top dive play is an actual call by the coaches?

its a rb's decision to either punch it in if there is a hole, and if there isnt one...you take a leap

no coach wants to expose the ball like that mid-air

TexasEagle

Obviously the calls were not fine or one of them would have scored...

ice grillin you

obviously you dont know the difference btwn a coach making a call and a player executing a call
