Hungover thoughts:

- McCain's condescending attitude and refusal to address Obama directly was my biggest problem with his side of things last night.
- Obama agreeing with McCain didn't bother me at all. Acknowledging his experience kept him looking professional while McCain scoffed and smirked and condescended his way through everything.
- In terms of answers, McCain won.
- In terms of overall approach and retorts, Obama won. But he had to do well here because he was on the defensive all night.
- Biden's numerous interviews, with Palin nowhere to be found and CNN repeatedly telling the audience that they invited her and she turned them down, was a major boost for Obama.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

its pretty damn amazing...a little over a month away from an election that could put her a heartbeat away from the presidency and the lady cant give a post debate interview...truly remarkable when you think about it

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

BTW whoever said earlier that Biden's main job is to answer questions and not come off as a mean old man was 100% right. If he keeps it simple he will mop the floor with Palin. This is going to be a trainwreck.

he will. basically the only thing the right has going for it would be to play the "poor sarah" card and try to label biden a mean old man and palin as the innocent woman. if he keeps it real, they got nothing.

It may be a great read, but it's not true
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Quotebut it's not true

Yes, not true. Except for the part of them objecting to their song being played by McCain. And McCain continuing to play the song. And the part about donating royalties to the Obama campaign. Aside from that it was entirely fabricated.

They accept the royalty money...they don't object all that much.

QuoteRoger Fisher, the former guitarist of Heart who was also a co-songwriter of the song "Barracuda," did say in an e-mail to the Reuters news agency that he would "donate a portion of royalties he receives from the Republicans' airing of 'Barracuda' to the campaign of Sen. Barack Obama."

Yes, they are truly against McCain using there song....they angrily deposit what is left after a portion is donated to Obama."

Campaign songs are serious business.
