Because I already had Steve Smith and Randy Moss. Don't worry about it.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

They're fast.  Wasn't this on the not approved list just a couple days ago?

I don't think they ever stopped fans from ordering customized Ocho Cinco jerseys, a la Ron Mexico. The NFL just wouldn't let CJ wear one while playing.

ESPN dumped a ton of NFL-related content onto their website today the past couple of days.

First up are the always-entertaining, always-useless staff predictions.

- All staffers predict that either the Chargers, Cowboys, Patriots, or Colts will win the SB, with the exception of Kevin Seifert, who picked the Jaguars.
- Most of them have the Eagles going to the playoffs, but only Seth Wickersham thinks they will win the NFC East. Mike Sando has the Eagles losing the Super Bowl.
- No one predicts MVP honors for any Eagle. Matt Mosley and Sal Paolantonio, a couple of NFC East watchers, picked Jackson for offensive ROY.

More detailed analysis of the Eagles are here. No one at ESPN thinks the Eagles will repeat their last place finish in the NFC East. Humorously, the "MY BEST OPPONENT" part of the page has LJ Smith talking about Osi Umenyiora.

Finally, they ranked team fan bases. The Eagles came in #4, behind the Steelers, Packers, and Browns. Steeler fans are among the best fanbases without question, but I still think the Eagles fans are more hardcore and more fanatical. More knowledgeable about the game too. It's easy to cheer when your team has five Lombardi trophies, and it's easy to "travel" when half the city's population has moved away.

I can at least see where they are coming from on the Steelers and Packers... but Eagles fans are demonstratively better than Browns fans, who should have been fighting Chiefs fans for the #4 spot.

The Associated Press finally got around to checking up on it.

I thought Ben Obomanu was poised for a breakout season with the Seahawks. No more. Broken clavicle.

Any chance that Ocho Cinco isn't the top-selling jersey this season?

I heard the Favre Jets jerseys have sold in high numbers, but still...

Just wait until DeSean Jackson starts running back touchdowns on national television.  His jersey sales will kill Sean Taylor's numbers.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
