I heard "Vantage Point" is basically the worst-case scenario of this type of movie.  It's about 15 minutes of movie all-told in reality.  Anyone actually seen it yet and can confirm/deny?

FF, this is the 3rd time you've asked about this movie, you know that right? Put the bottle of wine down with your wife, buck up the $2.99 and rent the thing for christ's sake--you know you want to see it

I thought you don't read the site enough to know the nuances of what is said here?

sharp memory Wing--you're right

but I did notice FF's intrigue of the Vantage Point again, in which we did go back and forth about it when the movie came out

Vantage Point:

Horrible. It felt like a movie with no beginning or ending. First of all the plot was lame to begin with, but on top if it there were about a dozen things never explained and it basically wasn't even really ended. They might as well have just stopped shooting in the middle of the story and ended it there. Also, even the stuff that was explained was so convoluted that it was laughable. The acting was pretty bad too. Whitaker's talents seriously were put to waste.

Also, I don't think you could straighten out Dennis Quaid's eyebrows if you superglued them upward.

save your $$/10
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I think Freddie might be interested in that movie.

This is legitimate and well thought out.  Who hacked your account?

First, I need to check on the status of Darwin Walker's thigh.

Heard In Bruges was decent and was thinking about checking it out. Anyone see it?

Wall-E...4/5

I took my sister to see it on the 4th. Pixar is still on top of their game for sure. The opening skit before the movie starts is good for a laugh too. The movie, despite being aimed at kids still carries a message. They get into how the humans are ruining the planet, are fat and lazy and how mega-marts have taken over. I'd recommend it even if you don't have kids.

Father Demon

I watched The Hitcher (the original one) today because it was on Showtime.  It's such a bad movie, and I love it.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

i heart huckabees- god damnit david o russell is such a fleshpop 2.5/5

amiele- only made it through 2/3rds of the movie before passing out. it wasnt bad, but i have no interest in going back to see the last part. 2.5/5

murderball- like a lot of documentaries, it started out great, then went off on some ridiculous tangent, then came back for a fairly satisfying but ultimately anti-climatic conclusion. 3/5
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
